As an Eastbourne Town supporter,i would like to extend my congratulations to all connected with Eastbourne Borough on a great result last night and their promotion to the highest level of non league football.
To rise fron the County league to the Conference in such a short space of time is quite outstanding and has really put the name of Eastbourne on the football calender!
Lets hope in years to come that the Town can do the same!,it wont be easy but the people down at Priory lane have shown us the way.
Well done to them!!!

Here here daisycutter. Looking at what is happening at Lewes - who won the League but now dont have their manager and may realistically go into the Conference with none of the players who got them there, I bet Borough are glad they finished runners up. At least there is every chance they will finish above Lewes in the Conference next year
